The Ephemera Society is a non-profit body concerned with the collection, conservation, study and educational uses of handwritten and printed ephemera. The Ephemera Society, PO Box 112, Northwood, Middlesex, HA6 2WT, United Kingdom
The Faroe Islands Study Circle was established in 1991 to bring together collectors of Faroe Islands' postage stamps, postmarks, postal history and so on. It allows collectors to share information about their interests. Many of the Study Circle's members also have a more general interest in the Faroe Islands - their geography, history, flora & fauna, transportation, etc - and so the Study Circle also endeavours to cater for these wider interests.
The main aims of the Group are to encourage research, preservation, restoration and awareness of letter boxes and the definitive description and documentation of their types and locations. As a member of the Group, everyone has the chance to make their own contributions to this highly respected body of knowledge.
